Jim Osterhaven

From Muskegon Michigan, Charlie graduated from Calvin College in 1989 with a degree in biology. He got his start in the seafood business working in the Meat/Seafood department at Forest Hills Foods. He then started at Superior Foods in 1999 working in the retail sales department as a retail account manager. He then left superior for 2 years working as the seafood director for Premier Foods and ran the seafood program for D&W Food centers until 2006.

Charlie couldn’t stay away from Superior Foods, and he returned as part of the purchasing team. He bought fresh seafood and is currently the purchasing manager.

Fun facts: Charlie has been married for 16 years, and he spends all of his free time driving to and from baseball diamonds and soccer fields to watch his children play sports. Charlie is a former home brewer, and enjoys sampling Michigan’s finest craft beer.
